Advocacy
Program
The
Advocacy Program promotes and campaigns for volunteerism in the
University and to other concerned agencies. In achieving this,
the office performs documentation of volunteer work, dissemination
of information through publications, room to room campaigns, and
networking with other organizations, offices and individuals.
One
of the publications of Ugnayan ng Pahinungód is the quarterly
newsletter entitled Ang Pahinungód. The
office also came up with a book that chronicled the experiences
of the volunteers. The latter is entitled "Volunteerism
in Action" and it is a compilation of articles,
reflections, essays, stories and poems made by the volunteers
themselves.
Another
publication that is regularly launched is the Annual Report.
It contains the accomplishments of the office for the year that
transpired.
Other
than the publications, information about Pahinungód and
its programs is disseminated through posters and flyers. Room-to-room
campaigns are also conducted at least every semester to acquaint
the University constituents with the volunteer service program
of Ugnayan ng Pahinungód.
