Pahinungód goes 13
On September 22, 2006, the Office of Ugnayan ng Pahinungód will be celebrating its 13 years of service. With the theme, “Pahinungód: Serbisyong Handog ng Pamantasan sa Bayan”, Pahinungód wants to encourage more UP constituents to be our partners in serving the marginalized communities of our country. The number of Iskos and Iskas continues to grow since 1993 as the University affirmed its service to the nation, as well as give our best to solve some burning issues in our nation and environment. We aim to continue the selfless service to those members of our society who need it.

Volunteerism
in Action:
A VISUAL EXPERIENCE
Recently,
Pahinungód launched the sixth volume of Volunteerism in Action
(VIA) book series. This series chronicles the anecdotes of the volunteers
who served in the communities under the Pahinungód program.
It also includes the reflections of some UP officials and professionals
regarding the nature and performance of the program.
This book features photographs taken by volunteers of the Health Missions Program. This would also showcase the creative side of the volunteers outside their chosen fields and highlight a different perspective of the deprived areas that were served.
Please take a look at some of its pages and you will find it attractive. At a very affordable price of Php 200, you may get a copy now. To interested parties, please feel free to contact Karen at 5266950 or 51. By buying a copy, you will have a memento of our UPM Volunteerism in Action and contribute to the funds badly needed for our Pahinungód Health Missions Program.
Grab a copy now and help pahinungód help the underserved!
